The Art of Wine

Our first Art of Wine seminar was a huge success.  One can find a great deal of information on  wine regions, grape varieties and even wine reviews, but very little time is spent educating people on how to enjoy their wines.

This seminar will deal with the issues of proper storage and serving of wine.  The storage of wines will cover ideal cellar temperature and humidity levels, what effect “your” cellar temperature has on your wine. What wines should and should not be cellared.  We will demonstrate the effects that serving temperature have on both red and white wines.  Should  you be decanting your wines ? You will have an opportunity to try the same wine with 4 hours of decanting and from a freshly opened bottle.  Are you holding wines that you shouldn’t be ?  We will show examples of wines that were designed for aging and some which were never intended to.

We will also look at wine faults by showing those in attendance examples of some of the more common problems that plague wines today.
